The Project parental sign-off
We run a sign-off session once a month for people who've learnt to climb at The Introduction to The Project, which means they can climb unattended at Boulders and get involved with The Project weekly climbing club.
The Project parental sign-off sessions are open to over 14s who have reached the stage where they can correctly fit a harness, tie-in and belay without instruction. A parent or guardian must attend so that they can sign the parental consent form, once a member of the Boulders team has shown them the centre and explained the risks.
- Booking is essential.
- Once you've got the basic skills, we'll run a parental sign-off session and as soon as you've passed this, you'll be ready to join in with The Project.
- Parental sign-off sessions normally run on the first Friday of every month at the same time as The Introduction to The Project, but give us a call to check just to make sure! A parent or guardian will need to attend the sign-off session.
