A strong and reliable climbing helmet is something a climber should always be wearing! We sell helmets appropriate for both the crag and the mountains capable of deflecting rock, ice and fumbled gear. Helmets fall into two main types, those comprising of a hard plastic shell over a thinner EPS foam inner, and those with a thin shell over a thick inner. The first type are great for group use as they stand up well to more frequent minor knocks, but are often heavier and less ventilated than the second type, which are comfier and lighter, but wear quicker.
