Unwanted Items
We hope that you are satisfied with all your purchases from Boulders. Despite this we do understand that sometimes you may wish to return items to us.
If for any reason you wish to return an item you have purchased from Boulders, you may do so within 14 days of the date you have received the item,*(This does not apply to items classed as PPE) provided the item is in its original condition and is complete with all its original packaging. Please fill out our Returns Form and pack it securely with your item. Delivery charges can only be refunded if you have cancelled your whole order.
Unfortunately we will be unable to credit postage costs for returning unwanted items to us. As the item is your responsibility until it reaches us, we recommend using a service that insures you for the value of the goods.
*PLEASE NOTE
Unfortunately, for the benefit of all our customers, we are unable to accept returns of climbing equipment classed as PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) unless they are faulty. This includes, but is not limited to; harnesses, ropes, helmets, slings and hardware. If we were to accept returns of these items we would not be able to guarantee their integrity for the next customer. Please bear this in mind when you are purchasing these items.
Faulty Goods
Our aim at Boulders is to provide the very best kit in perfect condition. If for some reason the item you receive is faulty or damaged please contact us first to request a returns number and then we will be happy to credit your postage and replace or refund the item.
If any item you have bought from Boulders develops a fault after 14 days you can return it to us and we will be happy to return the item to the manufacturer for inspection. If it is found to be faulty we will replace the item where possible or offer a refund.
Original Condition
For an item to be classed as being in original condition, the item and its packaging must be in the condition it was supplied. This means;
- The item should not have been worn outside (this includes climbing walls!)
- The item should not be dirty or marked in any way
- All labels and tags should still be attached
- The item should still be inside all boxes and packaging and the boxes and packaging should not be damaged
All UK orders will be sent Royal Mail Tracked.
The delivery charge for all UK orders under £55 is £5.00
Delivery to Mainland Europe is £5 if the order weight is below 2kg. Above this weight, the delivery pricing will vary. European courier services may vary.
Where possible, if your order is placed before 2pm, your order will be dispatched same day.
If, for any reason, the order has to be delayed, we will inform you of the date we expect to deliver the item to you. This should be no more than 5 working days from the date you placed your order
All items will require a signature on receipt. If the item is unable to be delivered, a card will be left with further instructions. This will normally require the item to be picked up from the local post office or for redelivery to be arranged. It is now the recipients responsibility to collect the package. If the recipient fails to obtain the package in a reasonable time, the package will be returned to us and a charge will be made for re-delivery.
Terms & Conditions
Placing an Order
By completing and submitting your order you are making an offer to purchase goods from Boulders which, if accepted by us, will result in a binding contract. Once you have placed your order we will send you an e-mail to confirm the order has been received. Once we have checked the price and availability of the goods, we will send you an e-mail to confirm we have accepted your order, and that a contract has been made between us. We will not take payment until we have accepted your order.
We try our upmost to ensure that the information provided to you at the time of purchase is correct. However, we do accept that mistakes can be made. In the unlikely event that we have made a stock or pricing error, we will inform you of this before we have accepted your order. In this event we will contact you to explain the nature of the issue and hopefully arrange an alternative solution. Once an alternative is agreed we will send an order confirmation e-mail and there will be a contract between us. In the event an alternative cannot be found and you wish to cancel your order, you will not receive an order confirmation e-mail and there will be no contract between us.

This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault.
This policy does not apply to any goods classed as Personal Protective Equipment(PPE). This includes but is not limited to; ropes, harnesses, slings, helmets and hardware.
In addition to our returns policy, under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel your contract before delivery, and up to 7 working days after delivery. If you would like to do this feel free to notify us by telephone but you will have to confirm your cancellation by writing to us. We will then provide you with a full refund including the original postage charge, within 30 days.
Although you are not required to provide any reason for your cancellation, we appreciate all feedback and a brief explanation for your return would help us provide a better service to our customers in the future.
If you cancel your contract you must return the items, in their original condition, to us at your own expense. As the item is your responsibility until it reaches us, we recommend using a service that insures you for the value of the goods.
Changes to our Terms and Conditions
These terms were last changed on 14/11/12.
We may change our terms and conditions at any time. Please do not assume that the same terms will apply to future orders.
**Christmas Returns**
Because we know buying the right size at Christmas can be difficult, we extend our return policy up until the 8th January. That gives you (or the person who you bought the wrong size for) 14 days to return the item to us so that we can refund or exchange the item, this way you can be confident that if it doesn't fit we will do our best to find the right size or product for you to replace it. Unfortuately this still does not apply to items of PPE(Personal Protective Equipment) as we are unable to accept returns of any item classed as PPE by law. See here for more information

Once you have filled your shopping basket click on 'Proceed to Checkout'. Then simply follow the instrctions and work your way through the checkout process. Please check that any information you type in is correct, as any incorrect information you give us could impact upon your delivery.
Is it possible for me to order by phone?
If you would prefer to make an order by phone feel free to give us a ring on 0845 52 118 50. We would be more than happy to take your order this way.
It would be possible for you to pay with any major debit/credit card and a payment would also be possible through PayPal. However if you would like to pay by a different method feel free to give us a call on 0845 52 118 50 and we'll see what we can do.
How secure are your online transactions?
All of our transactions are hosted by World Pay, a specialist payment gateway site which gives all our transactions a very high level of protection against fraud. They are world leaders in anti-fraud technologies and techniques and we hope this gives you the peace of mind you deserve as an online customer.
How long should it take for my order to arrive?
Once we have recieved your order we try to have your item in the post on that day, so it's possible that your package will arrive the next day. However it is wise to allow 1-2 working days for your order to be delivered.
