The important info:
80 minutes of climbing, followed by a party feast of pizzas, cookies, and squash.
Children must be aged 7 and upwards to take part
The cost is £180 for up to 8 children (birthday child included), or £300 for up to 16 children.
Parties can currently be booked at 11.40, 13:30 or 15.30 on weekends
The ratio of instructor to children is 1:8
Parties can be booked without the meal in our party room, please enquire for price.
FAQs
Do the children need to be registered before they take part?
Yes, the parents or guardians of the children will need to fill out a registration form before the children can climb. They can do this online by visiting https://bouldersuk.com/register-to-climb . Terms and conditions can be found by clicking the link at the bottom of the page.
I paid for 8 children to participate. Can I bring an extra child on the day to join in with the climbing?
No. Our ratios are 1 instructor to every 8 children and we have to be very strict with this.
Do I need to bring decorations, cups and plates?
No, we provide everything. The area is decorated with banners and bunting, table cloths, cups and plates and even party hats!
Do you provide invitations?
Unfortunately not at this time.
Please can I reserve a party date and pay at another time?
No, we do require payment to be taken at the time of booking. Parties are not confirmed until payment is made.
Am I guaranteed to be in a private room for my party?
Your party will be situated in the corner of our cafe room. The area will be decorated.
What kind of food do you serve?
We serve pizzas, freshly baked cookies, and squash.
Can you cater for food allergies or intolerances?
We certainly can! Our cafe can cater for all food allergies or intolerances, however we do need a minimum of 48 hours notice for all dietary requirements. You can inform us at the time of booking, or ring and tell reception at any time.
Do you provide a birthday cake and candles?
Unfortunately not! You will need to bring your own, but we can provide a knife, a lighter, and napkins to wrap the cake up in.
Can I invite children who are under the age of seven to the party?
.Our climbing parties are designed for children aged seven and upwards only. All the children taking part will need to be at least seven years old to climb.
Can I buy party bags from you or bring my own?
We are not currently offering party bags, but you would be welcome to bring your own party bags!
Can I add extra people for food even if I have only booked for 8 children climbing?
Yes! You can purchase additional food for your group, at a cost of £5 per additional person. We also need to know this at least 48 hours in advance.
Can some children play in Pebbles during the party?
Please note that Pebbles soft play has been removed from the centre so we do not have an area for younger children to play in whilst the party goes on. Smaller children can wait in the cafe but won’t be able to run around.
